In February 2026, our members braved the winter storms to take a trip from Andes to Albany.  We visited the NYS Museum, and toured the herbarium collection with Dr. James C. Lendermer, Curator of Botany.  Our group learned a lot about plant preservation, and was excited to see older methods of plant preservation in tact today! Special thanks to Birgitta Brophy for organizing this event with James and the museum.
